My beef with them is that winners aren't given a 16-seed. If they're playing in because they missed the field of 64, they should be getting the bottom of the rankings when they get in.

Agreed! My other beef with the 11 seed play ins is that the loser is an 11 seed that does not make it in but supposedly they are better than the 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16 seeds that do make it in

A lot of the talking heads are picking Arizona to win it all. I'd personally like to see Iowa State win it all

Another stat I heard that blew my mind is that Nebraska has never won a game in the tournament?

March Madness has brought nothing but sadness to Nebraska so far. Is this the year the curse ends? | Ncaa | tdtnews.com https://share.google/N0WStKYbZUuq4IQbj

Bracket is complete. I've got Iowa St winning it all. No reason, just because.

From a betting standpoint will wait until the final 8. But will tune in here and there.

Some great games yesterday; always fun to see the upsets. Duke getting pushed by 16 seed Siena was awesome (especially when there are Duke fans at your table)

end of regulation in the Santa Clara-Kentucky game was very March Madness-y

A motivational wakeup call for Duke,if they needed one. Sure the coach will use this game as a reminder.

read a stat today that said since 1985, only 7 times has a 13, 14 or 15 seed failed to win a game

it has happened two years in a row now

NIL & transfer portal are sucking the madness out of the tournament

I doubt Nebraska has made many NCAA Tournament appearances...

As expected Duke, as least by me, with the close call with Siena, came out and took care of business.

Who takes the blame/heat for that Duke turnover at the end of the game? #2 player or the coach?

What a comeback. Unreal. Duke players got a long time to be sick about this game

That's coaching. No reason to be passing the ball.

The UConn rally was amazing and creates a rather unusual set of scenarios- Let me explain:

Illinois lost to Michigan in the Final Four back in 1988-89. And in 2005, Illinois overcame a 16 point deficit and beat Arizona in the final four only to then loose to North Carolina in the final game. Illinois was badly beaten by UConn in the elite eight either last year or the year before. In addition, I believe UConn and Illinois met earlier in the season and the Huskies won. Sort of interesting that there is a final four and a more recent elite eight history that one team has with the other three.

How does this all turn out? I have no idea other than to write that it is all part of the March Madness tradition.

but there was. if Boozer hangs on to the ball, it could have potentially been a) stripped by those two Huskies, or b) they could have easily tied him up and it would have been UConn ball (they held the possession arrow). literally all he had to do is get the ball over their outstretched arms and the game was over............because there were two Blue Devils and zero Huskies behind them.

as close to winning a game without actually doing so as a team can get

Before Boozer even had the ball. Just cover up over the ball and wait for a foul. It was just dumb.

In rewatching that last play wonder if it was possible instead of throwing over the 2 defenders waving their arms up high, to throw around either one around waist high or lower.

I was underwhelmed by the final four games. Not as exciting as I anticipated.

Michigan appears to be the better team but that will not likely slow or diminish the UConn intensity. Hopefully this will be a good game.
