Interesting 1968 S Kennedy Proof

Likely a DCAM, but take a look at JFK's chin. A non frosted area looks like a gouge. Possibly a piece of debris was on the obverse die when the coin was struck.

    I believe it might be a drop of oil the die during the etching process preventing the frosted appearance after striking.

    Reminds me of Russ' dot head Kennedy. Many examples known suggesting the defect is in the die. Have also seen this on a proof cent - if I remember right, it was in 1953.
