Hundreth anniversary of the 1928 Hawaiian commemorative half dollar. Perhaps he's suggesting doing a reissue.

Using the starting prompt of “Every version of Liberty on classic United States of America coins represented as a living person dressed like and posing like they look on the coins” and running it first through Gemini and making a few corrections, then loading the resulting image into ChatGPT and asking it to make some more corrections and a prompt to make it look like a movie resulted in this:

Do you think people would buy this coin if the mint offered it for the Semiquincentennial 🤔

No - the eagle looks too much like the eagle symbol Germany used in WWII - once people spread that rumor around online there would be no sales.

I told it to make the eagle more obviously American, but I think it went too far 🙃

I always liked the woman in the shaving cream commercial back in the 60's. I dont quite remember the name of it ✌️

Was that the Noxema Shave Cream commercial when the woman says "Take it off - take it all off"?

I believe that had Joe Namath in it.

What I'm saying is: The Eagle is fine. Who cares if some low IQ person thinks it's a "German eagle".

The larger point is: I stopped caring about assuaging the feelings of the perpetually offended. There's always one more "offensive" thing that they want removed.

I hear ya. Earlier in this thread I mentioned I didn't like tattoos on women and somebody complained and the Mods deleted my post and sent me a warning. Catering to one ruins it for the majority.
