Grading Unslabbed NZ 6P


How would you grade this one. It i hard to find these is decent quality

    I wouldn't necessarily disagree with the seller's claim that it is Uncirculated. There is some very slight rub on George's beard, but perhaps not enough to consider this an AU58 coin.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    250 dollars is a lot of money to spend on a coin if it grades AU or details.

    Looks to be hammered (most of them are) but I’d venture 63 tops. Those pics are pretty washed out. I’d guess the fields have too much going on to grade higher than that.

    But as we all know it’s extremely tough to grade accurately from pics. Especially glamour shots like these.

    MS64 if it isn’t cleaned. Slight striking weakness. Nice coin.

    I hear you. I would slab a coin just because I want the slab and when I send coins to ANACS, they do a light conservation on the coins in addition to having a nice description in the protected plastic.

    If spent $250 dollars on it, I would probably have it slabbed.
