I'm wondering what everyone will be doing for their Kennedy Dansco albums for 2026 since there is no true Kennedy Half dollar this year? I'm undecided so beyond the poll I'd still like to hear everyone's thoughts.

Wait for @dcarr?
I stopped any dansco album work when they screwed things up around 2012.
Seems they didn’t care for their customers, so I stopped being one of them.
What did they do (or not do)?
Great question. Also applies to the Dime and Quarters. I did find this on the Whitman site

They simply stopped updating albums for several years.
They didn't include any of the 2014 50th anniversary coins or the additional finishes of 2017-S enhanced uncirculated, 2018-S silver reverse proof & 2019-S enhanced reverse proof. In reality, the whole series should be redone, you could argue that a 1964 Proof accented hair, 1981-S proof Type 2 and 1998-S silver Matte proof should also be added. Possibly even the 2005 to 2010 satin finishes from mint sets. In my opinion, a composition change, finish change or design change should all be included to be a complete set.
Those rascals.
Suffering three (yes, now it is three) floods, completely wiping out their business each time, is no excuse for not updating albums to some niche collectors satisfaction.

The 2014's are the exact reason why I changed all my Dansco's to blank pages. So I can customize my pages for the particular year. Previous to 2014, I just put the 64 Acc. hair, the 1981 types, the 98 Matte and the satin finishes on a separate blank page at the back of the Dansco. For the satin finishes, I had to start a second page which I wasn't happy with. I bit the bullet and ordered multiple blank pages as I do three complete album sets of Kennedys. Then I got a little carried away with the labeling and made a decision that probably wasn't my smartest move. Ordered multiple blank pages and relabeled them from 1964 to present.
Now my coins are in the order and labeled the way I like with all finishes and types in order. Cost me a chunk and I currently have a stack of empty labeled Kennedy album pages ( slightly used ). But I liked it so much I've done it with a few other series when the Dansco doesn't please me.

COVID-UPDATE: We began production in Sumas, Washington in February of 2020, but were forced to close temporarily due to COVID-19 in mid-March 2020. We were closed for over six months but are currently working with new social-distancing protocols that have allowed us to have a small workforce in place.
November 15, 2021 UPDATE- Our town of Sumas Washington has been devastated by a flood. We are working to go through all of our lost material, product etc. The cleanup is also going to take some time. It will easily be a couple of months before we begin to ship anything out. There are many in our town who are suffering from incredible losses in their homes as well. Please keep us in your prayers as we work through this very difficult situation. Check back with us in a couple of months. Thank you for understanding

Our city of Sumas was again impacted with a flood on December 11 and 12, 2025. The waters have receded and we have received minimal damage when compared to the 2021 flood. We thank everyone who has reached out and ask for prayers for our neighboring businesses and families who have not been as fortunate.
I have a Dansco but only collect the P + D issues for it. My line has options for practically all of the extra varieties though I admit I haven't kept up with what 2026 has in store for different finishes, metals, or mints.

I'll just plug in the two new halves in the 2026 slots in my Dansco if I work up the courage to take apart one of my astronomically priced mint sets. I can always move them later. I long for the days when it was a no brainer to take those mint sets apart to fill my albums.
Wow, impressive run of terrible luck.
While rebuilding while your at it 😘
