2026 Mercury Dime or 2026 AGE?

I’d like to buy one 2026 gold coin to commemorate the Semiquincentennial. Either the Mercury Dime (which is dated 2016 and comes with a silver medal) or a 1/10th ounce AGE (dated 1776-2026).
I will have to wait to see the pricing, of course. But that aside, I prefer the 1776-2026 dating on the AGE. I assume though that the dime is the more collectible item. Correct?

but as far as a warm item, a proof age isn't it
i'd go with the age because the dime/medal set will be more out-of-pocket
I decided that as a collectable (hold it forever, pass it on to the kids type of thing) I'd rather purchase the SemiQ gold dime. I suspect the demand will be high, however, and I might not get one, particularly given the issues I recently had with the US Mint website, which I documented in a different thread. Therefore, I went ahead and purchased a quarter-ounce 2026 gold proof AGE. I received it a couple days ago. It's a beautiful coin.
The AGE all the way. They already did a better merc in 2016. None of these garbanzo beans they are coming out with now.

I’m in the dime group. I have one from 2016, but I’m impressed by the silver companion medal this year and I like the 250 privy on the dime.
To each their own- the quarter ounce AGE will be a great alternative choice .
Does anyone know how many of those sets are planned?
Unknown mintage on the Best of the Mint Mercury dime.

The newest 24k Mercury Dime is a 1916 & not a 2026. None of the five Best of Mint issues include a 2026 date.
