This coin is one of the ones I kept after I retired what was at the time the 3rd finest set of FB Mercury Dimes w/Varieties Registry Set. That set is still clinging on to life and remains in the Top 20 all time :smile:

    That is interesting. I was once told that an AU coin can not get a FB or FH designation... to which I thought... Why not?

    I believe there is even an AU50FB IIRC. A coin doesn’t need to be MS to have FB designation 😅

    Not sure I can get them in much closer/bigger but if PCGS said it’s FB and CAC stickered it, it’s probably FB. You know the AU58-62 range is an interesting range 😅
