I didn’t remember that they had broadened the rims on these, probably to give them a bit more heft. Just like that 1942 cent with the bogus “High Relief” that was at the 2021 Chicago ANA.

That happened in CT one time. They traded out a fake higley for a real one then proceeded to tru and sell it. It didn't work and they person got jail time.
