    Those are great historical artifacts.

    Apparently some were not flown in space, but all are serial numbered and I believe there are records of which ones were and which ones weren't. The ones in the original folder are presumably flown since the USPS sold them.

    Here is one signed by Richard Truly.

    It is hard to believe that the Challenger disaster was forty years ago. I remember very clearly being at a business lunch at the Roma Cafe in Detroit when the waiter came up and told us about the disaster.

    Mine has a serial number 110376.

    On collectspace.com under "resources" there is a list of those that were not flown. They were supposedly destroyed. Anyway, yours is not listed. 🙂

    Thx for bringing this up. It reminded me to check ebay and I picked up another one for under $6. :D

    It will be sent off to one of the surviving crewmembers as soon as it arrives.
