Error Coin? - 1960 D small date

Hey Coin Community, I'm getting more and more into collecting coins and found something labeled "1960-D Struck on Small Date Cent, a GENUINE PLANCHET" in my Grandpa's collection, he's very old now and told me it was probably just him rambling as a kid (he did scribble out something on the bottom right, I can't tell what it says), and I want to know what the experts have to say

Welcome, you can click the gear at the top right to edit the post to remove the extra photo.
A genuine planchet is also an ordinary planchet and vis versa.
Don’t harm that flip, leave it as it is. What you can’t read is the price.

It may not be genuine, but we do know that it is geuine -- guaranteed.
edit: BTW, the '60P small dates are the ones to keep.
The picture is a bit off but if the coin is silver in color, it could be struck on a dime planchet making it about 1500 retail. If looks like all other cents I’m not sure what the old man meant by calling out the planchet

There do exist some 1960-D small over large date cents, but this doesn't appear to be one of them.

i don't know what to look for, it has all those parts tho
Take your time and a few close up photos then pick the best one and post it here.
Look for .....No glare, in focus, full date image and try to match it's color as in hand.
No hurry, no worries.
Do you have any coins that aren't corroded?
