I know that somewhere out there is a book that lists this plaquette so I can submit it to our hosts to grade but my searches come up bupkis. Any help is appreciated.
Cheers
Bob

The 1913 "George Washington to the Argentine Nation" medal is a bronze numismatic piece, often associated with J. Gottuzzo y Cía. It is a commemorative medal from the early 20th century, likely issued in the context of civic celebrations or the first centenary of independence events. These pieces feature the profile of George Washington and reflect the historical and cultural relationship between the two countries.
Details of the Discovery: Records indicate the existence of an "Argentina 1913 George Washington Medal Bronze."
1913 Context: In 1913, under the presidency of Roque Sáenz Peña, important centenaries were celebrated in Argentina, such as that of the National Constituent Assembly of 1813.
Manufacturer: Many commemorative medals from this period in Argentina, including pieces from 1913, were produced by the firm Gottuzzo y Cía.
Significance: These medals typically serve as patriotic mementos, celebrating influential historical figures such as the first president of the United States.
It is important to note that this medal is distinct from the "George Washington Peace Medal" (1792) or the bronze medals of the U.S. Mint.

Holy smokes! Thanks for all that! Where did you find that info? I couldn't find a single thing on it; mintage, rarity, or history.

Well ain't that interesting
Alternatively you could use this Google search app. Take a pic of the item with the icon at the far right. Then search.
Just remember...the advice you receive on the site is worth every bit of what you paid for it.
I have nothing more to add except that I really like it.
If it was mine I'd get it slabbed.
That's the next step.

So, the next question would be how do I identify it for submission?
USAF (Ret) The purpose of Bourbon is to make you feel like you should feel WITHOUT Bourbon. Remembering RickO, a brother in arms.
May I ask, what would be the purpose of slabbing a piece like this?
Mostly personal preference. But also because it's unusual, and by that I mean it's the first and only one I have ever seen. I'm sure more serious and discerning medal collectors would disagree and that's okay. I wish I could find more information on it such as rarity, mintage, etc. That is aside from the reference @jesbroken provided. Thanks again Jim!
Cheers

As you may know PCGS accepts tokens and medals that are listed in the reference sources posted at this link.

Based on a quick internet search, your medal may not be listed in the two books on Latin America. However, I may be incorrect. You would need to link it to one of the listed sources or contact PCGS.
I have had a few items slabbed where what I submitted was the first of its kind slabbed, but they appeared in a source referenced in the link.
He who knows he has enough is rich.
An example was sold in the 11/2000 Presidential sale. That listing didn't mention a Baker number, or any other reference. Joe Levine was usually very good about including relevant references, so I suspect this isn't listed anywhere findable.
A better choice would be submitting it to NGC or ANACS.

Thanks for sharing. I like it a lot and yes I would wish to have it preserved in an ANACS holder.

@Lazybones
ANACS can't do anything larger than 41mm.
FWIW, I found this 1913-dated Gottuzzo medal in a NGC holder.
