Who's going to the Colorado Money Show?
The Colorado Money Show, formerly known as the Denver Coin Club Show, is this Friday and Saturday,
Jan. 30th and Jan 31st at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Golden, CO. Friday 11-6 with Early Birds at 10.
Saturday 9-5. Free parking and no entry fee. (except Early Birds)
Hope to see some of you Forum members from Colorado there.
Not anywhere as big as the FUN show or the Houston Money Show, which have already
been held this year, but it is the first big show in Colorado for 2026. Over 60 dealers and 90 tables. Even some
big national dealers such as West Coast Coins, will be there. ANACS is at the show taking submissions. There will
be some live Whatnot broadcasts from the Bourse. With Silver over $100 and Gold ready to hit $5000 (as I write this) it
will be another great show.

Sounds like it will be a good show. If inclined, please post show reports.

Will dealers be buying at this show?
@JohnT58 I would assume most dealers would be buying collectable coins and collections, paper money/collections, foreign coins, etc. based on what they deal in and what their needs are. As to buying Gold and Silver Bullion, I don't know if every dealer would be doing so, it would depend on each dealer. I think there will be at least some dealers buying bullion, but I can't speak for them. The market is crazy right now.

Thanks. I have a number of 5oz ATBs that I would like to sell. I'll probably go to the show to see if I can find someone to sell them to at a reasonable price.
I am going to try to be there on Friday with a few copies of my book "The Enigmatic Lincoln Cents of 1922" to sell.
Look for an old guy pushing a blue walker. That's me.
Cash only, I'm afraid.
If you're afraid then you should take checks so you don't have to walk around with all that cash and become a mugging target.

I suppose I could take a personal check if necessary, but what I meant was that I cannot take venmo or paypal or anything electronic.
Maybe my joke was a little dry and I did not include any emojis. Was just teasing. Have a good time at the show and sell lots of books.

I think you got it backwards...was the CO Money Show, now the Denver Coin Club Show.

I'm a member.
The show is literally 2 minutes from work for me but I work very regular hours so I could only stop in for about an hour on Friday.
Saturday is a maybe since I made some plans way ahead of time, but I'm going to try and get there. Got a couple fun things I'd like to drop off with ANACS. It's just so convenient at the shows.
Maybe see some of you there!
@CaptHenway I've been known to pick up random books at shows, so if I'm there I'll look for you...do you have one of those 8 foot high orange flags attached to that walker I can look for?

Please post show reports.
Any chance that someone will be selling rolls of the 2026 250th anniversary coins? I would like to buy a few rolls just to spend.
@Kurisu the name is changing officially beginning with the August show to the Colorado Money Show. We have registered it with the State of Colorado. It has been called the Denver Coin Club Show since it began three years ago, but the show info will be changing on the ANA site soon. Hope to see you there Saturday.

@CaptHenway look forward to seeing you at the show. Met you a couple of years ago at Summer Seminar when you visited Bob Campbell's class. You were talking about your soon to be released book at the class. Now it is a reality. I might have to pick up a copy. I'll be at table 212.

Ah yes. I was getting his opinion on the “No D” Die Pair #4B that is in the book.
Wish I could be there!

I will have a table there.
For any of you copper collectors (EAC), just found out Tom Reynolds will be at the show.

Will be there Friday Noonish with a few copies of my new book on the new Lincoln Cent varieties of 1922 for sale. Look for an old dude with a blue walker.
Tom D.
Not a good day to sell coins. Perfect timing for the buyers though.
Went there today to sell my 1922 Cent book (sold 12!) and the show was really hopping! The Bullion SPLUNGE! didn't really seem to matter. Mostly collector coins and collectors.
Unfortunately I work on Saturday or I would be. Sunday at most shows are pretty picked over and I've found them not very worthwhile to attend.
