Wiley and Bugert die marriage not listed in Coin Facts, Can PCGS attribute it?

BarberianBarberian Posts: 4,643 ✭✭✭✭✭

Can I get it attributed even though it is not a listed variety and doesn't have a coin number in Coin Facts? The variety was discovered in 2015 by Dick Osburn and Bill Bugert's description was published that same year. I can send along a copy of Bill Bugert's description sheet with diagnoses. There is also no coin number for it.

    Doesn't PCGS check this page?

What is their customer service email address? I cannot find it anywhere on their webpages.

I wouldn't assume that they check it. You might try tagging specific moderators or just private messaging them to ask about this. Seems like there have been some cases where there were better outcomes when a moderator intervened than with just customer service alone.

  • we check it but most of us are members of the marketing team so in terms of adding new coins that's a grader / research question, so it will take us some time to find out the answer

per the graders, this is something we do recognize, we just havent received one in yet so the coin facts page (spec # ) has not been created

    see your submission soon? ;)

Very shortly. I dropped it off at FUN. It's Order # 26117514, submission # 7266609, the fifth coin. I also need Trueviews taken of each coin in the order as well. Through the holder is fine by me.
