5 known (this is the only chopped example):
My rarest die marriage is this only known 76-CC but there was another "Normal CC" reverse die used as well (which excludes the very wide CC and DDR type 1 reverse dies as those are varieties unto themselves) so it's comparatively common, with an estimated population of something like 20-25.

Probably this guy.

Only 4 known to have a perfect reverse.

1921 Peace Dollar Vam 1A non certified in AU58 at PCGS
I just purchased an R7 two hours ago. It's now one of a half dozen Rarity-7s acquired for my Seated Liberty half collection the past year including: two (2) 1874-S WB-5s, two 1877-S WB-6's including the "top pop" by two grades, one 1877-S WB-40 in MS61, and now perhaps the finest 1875-S WB-24 known (MS63 w/ CAC in an NGC Fatty holder) after receiving a tip from @Southcounty. SC also alerted me to one of the 74-S WB-5s as well for which I'm grateful considering the other WB-5 is the ugliest coin in my entire collection.
However, the Rarity King in my collection is my 1874-S WB-4, which is an R8 with three known at the present time. It had been sitting in my Dansco for 12 years without my knowing it was a rare die marriage. What a surprise!

@Barberian I am glad you grabbed that 75-S WB-24 example and congratulations on all of your rare die marriages. It is always nice when fellow collectors can keep an eye out for each other and help them to find those special additions.

Yup, and there's a "weird F" I'm keeping warm for you. I just have to crack it out and polish off that indigo toning with some silver cleaner before I send it your way.
Here is mine

May not look like much, but this 33.28-Z.20 is an R7 variety, currently 8 known.

I no longer own this, but it's definitely the rarest. Also believed to be finest known by several in the Washie community:
I don't know how "Rare" this variety is but I haven't been able to find out too much info on these.

Rarity 5, according to Stack's Bowers when I bought it; PCGS has certified 28 in all grades.

One of 3 known…
1861 $20 Clark Gruber copper die trial. Most of the copper die trails and all of the gold strikes have a pointed bust tip and the star is far from the tiara. This is a K12b with rounded bust tip and the star is close to the tiara. I have only seen two of these (I'm not sure how many more are known but there are probably less than 10). All the copper and all the gold strikes used the same reverse die which has the "V" punched over an erroneous "N".

Rarest has to be this one - the 1873 S-1 Close 3 IHC aka the “Double Liberty”:
There’s pronounced doubling in several areas of the obverse, notably the eye, feather tips, LIBERTY, the headband & front of the portrait. It’s acknowledged as the #1 IHC variety too!

This is the rarest die state of the rarest die marriage (B8) for the Draped Bust Quarters. There are 4 known right now.
The reverse die presumably broke early on so not many were struck.
The toughest of all of the 1972 DD varieties to find correctly attributed.

This Feuchtwanger Cent variety 3-D is the rarest die variety in my collection. It is a Rarity-7 variety.
When it comes to Early U.S cents, this 1794, Sheldon 45 is one of the scarcest in my collection. It is a Rarity-5+ variety.
