I feel it in my bones. Either that or it's the arthritis.
Yikes! What a nasty looking pic.
Thank goodness I really don't have arthritis. And it's pics like that which help keep me on a healthy diet, which provides the best chance to avoid these type of maladies.
Interesting on one of those prediction market websites. Scottie is 78 cents to not win the tourney. Put up 78 cents to win a buck total. That may be one of the best odds bet I've ever seen.
Of course now he will probably win it by 10 strokes. LOL
Overall good night yesterday. Caught a PRA prop with SGA. One of the starting OKC guards was out, so I figured SGA would have a big night, which he did with 40 points and 58 total PRA.
Sure is nice when once in awhile a prop goes as planned. 😊

Scottie odds seems a little bit too low. Didn't he get off to a slow start last season? I may be mistaken.
I just checked on this. Scottie didn't win a tourney last season until May 4. Of course past performance with an athlete from the previous season, isn't always indicative of how he will do in the present season. That being said, I think it is a good guideline. And so I stand by my opinion that Scottie is not a good bet at those low odds to win this tourney coming up.
Now perhaps Scottie has been preparing differently this season, but I doubt it. His main goal I'd be sure is to win those majors coming up later in the year. This tourney is like practice for him.
everyone we bet on is a good player. in Scottie's case, the best player. just a matter of them producing now
I've been thru this countless times before. Friends share picks, and of course sometimes they win, sometimes they lose...all part of the game.
It can sometimes get dicey, particularly in the stock market when there is a lot of money involved. No details will be given here about that, especially because this is a sports forum. Suffice to say over the years I've had friends provide stock tips. Some have worked out extremely well, while some were busts. Always a nice compliment from me about the winners, but never a complaint about the losers. The onus is always on me making a decision, one way or the other.

0.000000000000 % chance I'd be mad at anyone but myself for a losing wager

Played a Peyton Watson prop in the Nuggets game, and it already hit by halftime.
I'm lovin' it. 💲
That's definitely good but making the number at half time kinda makes you wish you took a higher prop lol
I've had guys hit say 30 PRA early 3rd and I kick myself for not taking a higher PRA with better odds for better money lol
BUT as we all know the NBA is greasy so anytime you get your number is a GOOD thing
Excellent advice, and frankly I've been thinking the same thing. Lately I've been doing a good job hitting props. However not so good at maximizing profit.
That was the ball part of my hip were my bone 🦴 Dr. 👨⚕️🥼 took out of me...
Hope you're healing up and recovering as well as possible.
Close friend of mine, we were college roommates, recently underwent knee surgery. And he already had surgery on his other knee a few years back.
It was surprising to me because he was always a good athlete. I didn't ask him how he damaged his knees and don't intend to unless he brings it up. He never played football, but a lot of baseball and basketball.
All that being said, he has done a lot of hunting in his lifetime, and still does to a degree. I'm guessing perhaps walking thru rough terrain in the woods, plays havoc on the knees, especially older knees, is how he damaged them.

fellas i believe @BLUEJAYWAY to be a better golf handicapper than i am, so it might not be a bad idea to rattle his cage
i'm still ruminating, but i'm definitely sticking two T20 bets in
perk if you're doing another 3-dudes T10 parlay, i'd definitely include Scheffler
i'll post my picks this evening
Thanks for the endorsement. But with my poor performance in the football derby tread lightly on my picks path. But it is somewhat easier in golf to be right where you can have a winner picking a top 10/20 placing.
Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".
Best of luck chaps on your plays. Took the week off with golf. Tuning up the golf cart. Keep in mind when betting a top 10/20 play in a Scottie led tourney he "reserves" 1 spot. So in that scenario you really only have 9 or19 open spots.

Where's a tornado, earthquake, volcano, or any other disaster which causes the tourney to end, and thus the bettors paid off based on current results, when ya need one? 😂
Didn't play anything, but yet another maddening NBA game.
Most of the Nuggets starters were out for this game. What normally would have been a line of Nuggets around -6, close to game time was Nuggets +7.5 and late it went to +9. Of course some saw an easy win for the Bucks and pounded it.
Well then of course the Nuggets proceed to win the game by 2 points.

Wonder how this coming winter storm will affect these two NFL games?
Both stadiums are not domed. The weather in Foxborough could be snowing during game time from what I see on the current weather report.
Thanks…. word on the street is it snowed so much in Foxborough that they moved the game to Denver. 🙄
Darin, sorry you didn't get the memo. This is a sports betting thread. The meaning behind my post was how the weather might affect handicapping the upcoming game. Not regarding if the game would be played.
Glad I could help straighten you out. Always happy to assist a struggling Chiefs fan whose once glorious team is now in the dumpster. Look on the bright side, you've got the Taylor Swift, or should I say Taylor Kelce, wedding to look forward to. Perhaps you'll receive an invitation, then you can tell us all about it. 😆

Been following the OKC game. Looked at some props but didn't play anything.
Stats thus far going into the 4th Q for Luguentz Dort: Yikes!
FG 0-7
threes 0-4
1 rebound
25 minutes
OKC was -15.5 at home and now losing by 5. Might be another OKC form reversal? I know...what else is new?
the defending champs were -15.5 at home where they were 20-2 against an Indiana team that was 10-35 and had won twice on the road all season
annnnnnnnnnd the Pacers go into Oklahoma City and beat the Thunder
we could bang this drum daily
STAY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THE NBA
Not for a millisecond did I think about playing the ML or spread in this game. However I did like a player prop in the game, but the website didn't offer it on that particular player. Hisses me off because that player did have a decent game, likely would have hit the dam prop.
after 36 holes this bet would still cash.......incredible
i can't even begin to explain just how difficult it is to get 4 guys inside the top 20 in the same tournament
i have a heck of a time nailing ONE
dumb question: is there a cash out option ?
So I put the bet in at work which was in Massachusetts, but I live over the border in New Hampshire and Draft Kings is ridiculous about this because you only get cash out offers in the state you placed the bet in, so when I was at home I saw the bet and didn't see if there was any offer for cash out, if there was I might have done it but whatever, it's not that big a deal
Anytime I put legit action in I always do it at home incase I get a decent offer

Now I see why Darin made his comment. Darin makes a lot of "off the wall" remarks, so I figured this was just another one.
Slipped my mind that the Patriots game is in Denver. I've been focused on the BB games, especially college games, as there are hundreds of them throughout the week. A number of them today with some interesting opportunities. 😎
Plus I'm now following golf, and attempting to figure out handicapping angles on that. So far the best I've come up with is a dart board, with Scottie in the center. 😆

I feel it in my bones. Either that or it's the arthritis.
Looks like a meteor
here's my 2
i'm going with Patrick Cantgetlaid and Sam Third Degree Burns this week
if PC cashes for me, i'll change his nick to Cangetlaid
if he doesn't, it remains Cantgetlaid
-6083.64
I might follow if I can get the boost, I think it's top 10 though
Hope you drill these
I'm in.

sincere apologies in advance lol
No problem. If it doesn't hit, I just won't eat dinner for a few days. Besides, I've been reading that occasional fasting can be good for ya. 😂

Scottie a lock for top 20
The other three firmly in the hunt. Not a bad position to be in with 17-1 odds
Long way to go, but I'm happy with the position. All three came on strong on the back nine.
Yes, I only have two players, but I wanna see Perk take it down as well.
@perkdog
are ties good with your parlay? after the 1st round, Stifler, Cantgetlaid and Griffin inside the top 20, with Third Degree Burns tied for 20th
how sweet would it be to have a promotional offer that allows you to halt a golf bet after 18 holes
edit: have yet to come up with a nick for Ben Griffin
Played a Peyton Watson prop in the Nuggets game, and it already hit by halftime.
I'm lovin' it. 💲
A tie for top 20 will count for sure
So if all 4 guys hypothetically all tie for 20th place that's a W

The thing with the NBA, bet on a form reversal, and then suddenly the game becomes as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning.
