Has anybody seen the new dime yet for 2026?

This is one that I’m actually very eager to see, the design seems really cool…

I guess I ask because on the Greysheet app it’s shown for US coins, making me think that they have been released?

She looks like she's about to Pac-Man the mint mark and I'm surprised the on-duty janitor's initials didn't get included on her forehead. And why all the various fonts?

I really like the overall design but the Mint went out of its way to goof it up.

Will they be selling these in $10 or $25 or whatever bags just for spending?

Eagle sneer for, "There is no stinking olive branch!" 🤣
    I do like the design.

What symbolism does the empty talon denote?

I do find that a little "unbalanced" without the olive branch.

Reminds me of a dog lifting his leg. Imbalanced is right. Doesn’t the olive branch represent peace ? It’s not to be found.

"Obverse (heads): The obverse design features a determined Liberty as the winds of revolution waft through her hair. With steadfast resolve, she faces the tyranny of the British monarchy. Her liberty cap bears stars and stripes, at once a symbol of our burgeoning Nation and a reference to early American coinage."

"Reverse (tails): The reverse design features an eagle in flight carrying arrows in its talons, representing the American Revolution and the colonists’ fight for independence."

The eagle is going to pluck that pesky EC out of the air with the empty foot.

All our new coinage should be as artistic as this design. Love it!

The initials look like something is dropping away. It reminds me of the old slang term for “payday.”

    Way too much lettering.

Is it me or does the eagle's pose look like he just dropped the olive branch? Peace Roy

    The flying "EC" startled it.

Under the bust……..the things are CAC already? :D From a striking viewpoint, the highest point on the reverse is also the highest point on the obverse. Perhaps this will cause future “full nostril” designations. The bird looks as if has just flew into my closed window. The more I look at it the less I like it. The thing about “tyranny”…….in This political climate, will be misread and misunderstood.

I like the overall design but too wordy. Too many fonts as someone else stated and too many words on such a small piece. Why the word "liberty" twice? Why "one dime" and not "ten cents"?We know it's a single dime because it's just one; there isn't two unless you've drank too much.

Have you ever looked at a Roosevelt dime and asked why it says "one dime"? Or a Merc? Or Barber? Or Seated? That's 190 years of "one dime". I think you're just trying to find something not to like about it.

All comments reflect the opinion of the author, even when irrefutably accurate.

Nah, In this case, less is better. Strike the text "Liberty over Tyranny" and use same font for one dime as United States of America then it improves a lot. Being critical doesn't mean I don't like it Overall as I stated earlier. It's better than most of the convoluted pieces they are making.

It’s a cool design, cooler than the current dimes, but I still like this one better, this was online back in 2024…

    I like the obverse.
Not so much the reverse. The eagle looks more like a vulture to me. And very busy with all the fonts and wording.
