The gold value to numismatic coin value perspective

It boggles my mind thinking that 1oz of gold is worth more than a key date 1893 S Morgan Dollar in lower grades. Just think of all the key date coins that seemed expensive compared to an oz of gold back in the day to now. It’s crazy!
