Nice haul. Is the NGC fattie the type with a hologram or heat stamp on the reverse?

I deleted my post as my original post was in the wrong thread.

Where should he have posted these 1909 cents?

I apologize to TDN for the ambiguity. I meant I had posted my original post into the wrong thread. Straight deletion of posts isn’t allowed and the software requires some text when editing, hence the “wrong thread.” I wasn’t suggesting his post was in the wrong area or unwelcome in anyway.

I wish TDN well with his set.

P.S. Based on another thread, it appears that he was putting together a 1909 copper set in the oldest possible TPG plastic. I originally commented that I was surprised he couldn’t find a nice 1909 IHC proof in gem in a rattler. He had eluded to settling for a later OGH.

Perhaps one will turn up eventually but no - I’ve seen only one in past auctions and Mark Feld says it was cracked out
