Where to best sell silver coins?
With the meteoric rise in silver prices , I'm considering selling my general circulation silver dollars, halfs, quarters, dimes, and wartime nickels. Also have the Franklin MInt 100 greatest Americans collection of proof silver ingots ( 1 oz/ingot and 92% silver). having never sold coins for melt value, wondering where I should consider selling? Appreciate honest advice from members with experience sellinga nd obtaining best pricing.

I sold a large amount of 90% recently, along with a few ounces of foreign gold. I shopped it around locally, and then called four different online metal dealers. I ended up going with HeroBullion.com, as they made the best offer. Even though shipping/insurance was expensive, I netted out ahead over selling locally. Smooth process too. Good luck.

Knowing your general location helps us.
Sorry, I'm in San Diego area.
you can definitely shop around there, as Dave99 suggested
big gamble: https://longbeachexpo.com/ - it's in mid-feb
Google your area for bullion/coin dealers and make a few calls. Questions to ask: Price? Do they pay cash? Can a check be cashed immediately? 90% and other alloyed silver going for less than 0.999 items. You could sell some now and hold some for later. Don't try and guess where a peak is. It's easier to sell into a rising market than a falling one.
The pardon is for tyrants. They like to declare pardons on holidays, such as the birthday of the dictator, or Christ, or the Revolution. Dictators should be encouraged to keep it up. And we should be encouraged to remember that the promiscuous dispensation of clemency is not a sign of political liberality. It is instead one of those valuable, identifying marks of tyranny.

SpudsMcKenzie, try collectpure dot com.
It takes a bit to register but their bid offer for 90% coins etc is getting better as the spot price rises.
They provide the fedex label to ship. You can have them combine your orders into one shipping label. Go to fedex for free shipping boxes.
They charge a 1 % fee.
Excellent customer service. Email response is fast.
caveat: right now with the deluge of 90% coins, they take a couple weeks to remit your funds.
But assayed silver goes faster. (I would wait until silver hits $100+ unless you are under duress)

Also you can list your items on the classifieds section of this forum. Downside is that you are a new and unknown forum member.
I tried PMS for sale on reddit. A lot of irritable ladies in that chat.
In your area, see if there are any online auctions. The final prices I've seen around here are astronomical.
Reddit is a very bad place and I encourage everyone reading this to just stay away. I built an unrelated business on there years ago and it was a huge mistake. It gave me a warped perception of what customer service was like. The number of problem customers you get is insane compared to anywhere else on the internet and for anything. The juice is not worth the squeeze. It will severely affect your mental health. Someone who gets upset over a 10 dollar order will try and ruin your life. Just don't do it.
I don't mean any offense to anyone here by saying this but I think anyone who sells large amounts of expensive things is out of their mind for considering reddit as a suitable place to do it.
Reddit is the sewer for sure.
COPPER is gutter !
