Posted on CoinTalk. I apologize for how polluted that site is with ads (as a Supporter there, I don’t see them).

Sorry I missed you Rob! Wanted to meet you and chat about Brunswick GA, where you used to go metal detecting in my yard on Dartmouth Street. Maybe next time. Cheers, karl

Thanks for the report. Unprecedented attendance levels from what I understand. Was it mostly bullion buying and selling or was the collectible numismatic coin market just as hot??

Hey, Gil- I met that “toowindytofish” fella you told me about. I didn’t know him, but coincidentally, he saw me and called me over. I mentioned you.

Thanks for the report, LM! I cant be on cointalk for more than a few minutes, though. Those ads pop up every other comment, and it is super annoying.
I miss your stories. Is there a reason you prefer the other forum?

I agree- unfortunately CT is awful with all the ads. I tend to forget that, because as a Supporter, I don’t see them. Without ads, it’s my favorite coin site. I vastly prefer the XenForo platform they use over there. It is far more user-friendly than this CU platform, in my opinion, has more features, and suits my posting style much better. (CU’s switch to this platform ten years ago is what drove me over there. I’ve just never been a fan of this Markdown platform.)

Great folks in both places, of course. And there’s a good bit of overlap, membership-wise.

It was the best FUN show is years every dealer had a great show. Everyone sold and sold from soup to nuts. Thur attendance was over 10,000 even today it was crowded til about 3pm. We stayed to closing at 5:30 and still were doing deals…..
