1953-D Peenies
I have many 1953-D pennies. I am seeing 3 different sizes of D's and the location of the D's varies. What is normal and what is an error? I see no Doubling in any of the D's. Thanks!

LOL for the peenies.
VarietyVista lists three different mint mark styles for the 1953-D cent:

Plus the mintmarks were punched by hand back then accounting for the various locations.

Thank you. I understood that there were variations and why. I was just wondering what was considered normal vs. error. So with regards to the "D" it is all considered normal, except for the Doubling of course.

None are "errors". You might want to investigate what "error" and "variety" mean in the context of coins.
It is also worth noting that most "errors" have no premium associated with them.
