Does anyone know about the following company? American Rare coin Galleries, Inc North Bellmore, NY. This company may no longer exist.

    I would like anything. Where are they now? Why did create holders held together with screws? Anything and everything you may know about this company.

    OP, why not just post a photo of what you have so people can give an informed answer?

    "Holders held together with screws" were and still are made. That company may or may not have sold some coins in them.

    They did, with grade labels affixed to the holder and, IIRC, hologram tape sealing the edges of the holder But I don't know what the OP is fishing for. I think they are very active in the investment group period. I've seen some very nice coins in their fingers.

    Lol. That may well have been the "right price" when it was made. As I mentioned, I think they were most active during the "investment fund" period. Many prices have never gotten near their peaks at that time, most notably classic commems.

    I have one and the coin is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. I cant find a flaw on it. Any specks you might see are on the outside of the holder. I just took a few quick cell phone holders.
