On a whim I bought this at an auction

I started with some 80 grit then 150 grit which took about an hour then I used these Novus products. (No affiliation)
Those were bubbles in the acrylic and they were deep
I have more to do on the finer scratches but I'm pretty happy with the progress.

It looks great. Good luck with the rest of it.

Probably made shortly after the coin and stamp were released. It polished up well.

Looking good. I think I would sand the deeper scratches off with 220 and 320 grit before burning elbow grease on the polish.

I didn't have any higher grits but the 80 did the brunt.. I've worked on it a bit more and I'm pretty happy with it.
    I think I got it for $20.00 ..

    Great improvement.
