What do you think the grade is on my 1921 Morgan Dollar? I bought it at a flea market in 1995 for $8. Just curious what people think the grade is. The reverse looks proof-like to me in person, but the obverse doesn't.

The texture is throwing me off.
I'll agree with the above, it's got some damage.

Perhaps it is the angle or the lighting, but it doesn't look PL to me.

The semi-circular line from the 3 o'clock to 7 o'clock position on the obverse doesn't reflect light when I look at it with magnification, so it doesn't look raised nor gouged. It looks like some kind of milk spotting to me, but I'm no expert.
Looks like a slider, could go 62, unc details, or 58 depending on the day. I don't see any PL attributes in these pics.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
I took a close-up of the semi-circular line on the coin to show the milk-spotting quality of the line. I just don't know what it is to be honest, I'm a causal collector. I hope it wasn't a botched dipping or cleaning
This came over the counter from a coin Shop I used to work at. It was mixed in with mostly silver eagles in same type slab so assumed all from past vaultbox

Maybe it’s out of 20?
