HONOLULU'S HOLIDAY SEASON'S CITY LIGTS RETURN
Once again the Honolulu City Employees put on a special light show decorating that includes a huge Christmas Tree that towers over City Hall and then within City Hall they display creatively decorated Christmas trees.

DISCOVERED, ON A HONOLULU MOUNTAINSIDE, THE LOCKED-IN-TIME LILJESTRAND HOUSE DESIGNED BY FAMED HAWAII ARCHITECT VLADIMIR OSSIPOFF
Built in the early 1950s the Liljestrand House is preserved and maintained just as it was when Dr. Liljestrand and his wife's family with two girls and two boys lived and grew up there.
Visiting the Liijestrand House offers the rare opportunity to have an intimate look at a Hawaiian home designed by famed Hawaii architect Vladimir Ossipoff. Ossipoff himself grew up in Japan witnessing the building of works designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.
In fact there is an uncanny similarity between the Prairie Style homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and this home. Incorporated into the house' are design features evidencing Japanese influence.
This video playlist begins with an exterior view of the house followed by a visit to the interior's living room, lower level, kitchen and the spectacular views of Honolulu and it harbor as well as of Diamond Head.
