One of the listings claims this:
LAST YEAR for PDS PENNIES & PDS KENNEDY HALF DOLLARS with the reverse (tail) design based on the Presidential Coat of Arms
Not sure where the Kennedy half claim comes from, as they may revert back to that in 2027.
PS Anyone who has these may want to ring the register.

I bought 5 Silver sets. Not the limited, just the standard silver proof sets. Also 5 clad and 5 Uncirc. sets. Been this way for years. Break 3 out to fill my Dansco albums. Stash two in the safe. Tempted to sell but........
Is this a temporary rise in price ? Long term ? AND, what is the reason for the sudden uptick ?

don't worry. mint has already the cent will be in mint sets and renderings with its inclusion have been released. i'm sure someone will say "not for 2027," but the mint already released about its future inclusion (no end date set)
keep in mind how long the nclt kennedy was put into mint sets
I can't trust prices on proof sets. Remember when the late 1990s proof sets went for big money and how the 2004 proof set was worth a lot of money, now they are all worthless.
