Each an exquisite piece in its own regards, but the 1486 guldiner is simply outstanding.
For future taler collectors, i am fairly certain that the TalerUniverse provenance will be a high water mark for many years to come.

I don’t know Talers well at all. That said, the internal “reeding” on that 1486 is unlike any I can remember seeing before. A very cool detail to my eyes on an extraordinary piece.

I think he’s got two of them now! The other I seem to recall is a 40. I remember the acquisition story.

Zohar, these are all super and amazing coins! Congratulations! My favorite is the Venetian Double Scudo! That lion and how, in my opinion, it looks "crude" for the type when compared to other, say, Thalers or equivalents, from the period! Happy Holidays!
