Take a look at 1916 buffalo nickel in a pcgs G04 slab number 50731189. No doubling shows at all in the ribbon ties,
no doubling at the bottom of the large feather and I cannot see any doubling in the date. This same coin is in Great Collections
auction number 1995928. Is this a possible mistake by pcgs? Opening bid is one thousands smakers. This is a G04 acid etched coin Right now the auction has 16 days left.

there's nothing there to even be confused for doubling
Thank you for tagging me in this - this isn't the doubled die. We're removing and getting fixed.

Thats why i only collect 16 DD's in MS-65 or better
Maybe it's the infamous "Acid Trip Doubled Die" variety?
