Indian gold not allowed on Facebook marketplace?

I listed a $2 1/2 Indian gold piece on the local Facebook marketplace this morning for a little over the gold melt price and it was taken down within an hour or so. A pawn shop owner told me that the "Indian" motif would have been the reason. Are Indian coins being excluded from various marketplaces?

First I heard about it. It dont sound right either 😕
Actually, no coins are allowed to be sold on marketplace. Some certainly slip through but it's in the rules that sales of "real money" are prohibited.
lcutler is correct. It’s against FB Marketplace policy to sell coins.
I didn't realize that selling them were against FB's rules. There's always Craigslist.
I remember selling some SAE's on facebook a couple years ago. I have also seen a few coins for sale on FB recently also.

It's hit or miss whether or not they catch the ads, but it is against their rules.
Or you could join one of the established coin groups like 'Pre33 GoldBugs - Gold Coins' and sell all you want once you establish some very basic credentials.
That cleats that up
I see them for sale on Facebook all the time, including currently. There are several Facebook coin groups. Evidently the marketplace has no control over groups.
