Can there be machine doubling and a doubled die on the same coin?

I saw this auction and it got me to wondering if both things can be possible at the same time?

I’m not saying this coin has either form of doubling, but it’s the principle in theory that I’m curious about.

Yes a doubled die coin can can be machined doubled also.
Of course, they have nothing to do with one another.

Doubled dies are a result of doubling of the coin design on the coin die due to the second hubbing not being perfectly aligned with the first hubbing. Machine doubling is caused by looseness in the minting press resulting in the dies shifting or bouncing during striking the planchet. Both are possible at the same time since they are two different situations. Also, this same coin could also be struck off-center on a clipped planchet.
