Thank you for playing, folks. PCGS said
1909-IHC: 65RD
1945 Walker: 65
1892 dime: 62
1886 Morgan: 65
I was expecting 65+ or 66 on the Indian and the same on the Morgan. I thought the dime would come back 62 or 58. But the Walker … I was expecting 66 or 66+. Even with the coin in hand, I’m unable to reverse-engineer an explanation for MS65.
The retired math professor in me gives congratulations to Davidk7, Coinbuf, and TomB for having the smallest average deviation from the PCGS grades … 0.625, or 5/8 ... if my arithmetic is correct. Good night.

Hi folks; here are 4 TrueViews of coins just returned from PCGS. These were raw coins, never before slabbed, that had been in my SDB for quite a few years. Grades are not listed in case you wish to GTG and look up the certs. (Of the 4 grades, only the Barber dime's matched my own expectations. But no complaints ...)
Edited to add that the cert of the Barber is 58742893

I am in no position to judge all your coins but I assume you will be getting one of those stickers put on your Indian cent. James
Very nice coins; but not enough pop and sizzle for higher grades.
All four are very beautiful coins that anyone would enjoy as part of their collection. I would send the walker to CAC with a note asking if not a gold bean why. Unless there is something not seen in the TV PCGS whiffed on that coin. Even if he doesn't give it a gold bean, JA's thoughts might help to understand the given grade. The TV makes it look 66+ and I'm usually the conservative one here.
