Mercury Dime toning question
10 or so years ago, maybe longer, I purchased 6 BU Blast White Mercury Dimes. None special dates or mintmark. They all came in 2x2 paper folders. Bought them as a group for a very fair price and did not place them in my album as planned. I ran across this one today by accident, as it shouldn't have been where it was. This coin was blast white when I got it and very lustrous, which it still is. My question is I know this toned in the envelope and not planning on having it graded, but would it be questionable toning if sent in to pcgs? Just curious. I'm a terrible photographer but the reverse is bright gold in color and the obverse just a trace of blue on lower rim. It lays on the envelope it has been in.

I don't think it would be.
I asked because I had 2 Walkers that were both graded and both were of a quite similar color.

I think the pictured coins would straight grade.

I think it’s a pretty common color for straight graded Mercs. I like it. I think I have a few that are similar (but can’t remember if they’re raw or graded, so that’s no help)
Should straight grade IMO.

It's just a curiosity as not worth slabbing, common grade with no fsb. Thanks for the rapid replies.
