Indy vs KC is tough to. pick
I went with KC even though I lean more towards Indy, but on the road in KC where they are desperate pushed me towards Mahomes over Jones

I'm genuinely shocked to be in the lead, this feels weird. Picking winners in sports is very tricky. So regardless of whether I win or lose the contest, there is a great satisfaction to have held the lead for a brief moment. 👍

It's a superstition I can't seem to shake, don't feel comfortable picking the Panthers to win, they seem to play better if I just stay away from them. It's gotten so bad that I don't even watch their games!

it has been a frustrating pick'em contest for me
there have been many instances when i encountered a game that i deemed a flip, and i'd zig when i felt the consensus would zag
so many narrow losses that created, in all likelihood, too much distance for me to overcome now
i'm not sure my dignity could ever be salvaged if i started picking the Raiders, Titans and Jets from here on out

i guess i should have noticed that we had a couple of people who were on the verge of not sticking their picks in on time, but honestly that's well above my pay grade. my $0/hour duties include calculating and double & triple-checking. if i have to remind grown ass men to submit their selections on time, i'm going to have a chat with my agent about a hefty, Fat Albert-esque raise.
but to dueces point, you won't lose much ground, if any. it would have behooved me to not pick either -- i missed all 3 yesterday
