Another Ebay question.

If a buyer makes you an offer, is there any way the buyer knows that you have reviewed the offer? Don't think so, but curious.

I'd like to know if ebay supplies the seller info on the buyer like if they buy. Maybe that's where it come from ( a ebay seller had said ) hope it sheds some light 🙂

As a buyer I’ve never seen anything that indicates the seller reviewed my offer unless they act on it (decline, accept, counter). Same when I’m a seller and send an offer or respond to an offer and wait for the buyer’s response.

Sellers see the buyer ID, and from that can look at feedback. Pretty sure location is also included. No more information than we’d see for a bidder during an auction.

The buyer can not see if the seller reviewed the offer until the seller responds.

If you make a sale, you have the buyers contact information and address.
With that information, if you want to contact the buyer that's your prerogative.

They tell us nothing about buyers.

Not unless you act on it.

I would expect any potential buyer who makes an offer already knows/assumes the seller sees it. In contrast, I would expect any seller to see the offer and/or respond to an offer if they really want to sell. Then again, no response is a response, too.
