It's the thought that counts. Or so I'm told.

How did you get that? I never get one. That shows they are making too much off your submissions.

Here's one I have (not sent to me) from around 1949/1950, (best guesstimate) I purchased that was in a very old collection I purchased last year. Would love to know more about it but the original owner cannot recall all of the details himself (he's 88yrs old) It has 5 Mercs & 5 Roosies
    Dates are:
    Mercury Dimes: (2) 1941, 1944, (2) 1945
    Roosevelt Dimes: 1946, 1948, (3) 1949

That is really great Lee!! 👍 Obviously all stored in the same environment for years. Is it still as is? Have you or will you attempt to remove the dimes and look at them? I wonder what the coins look like under those cardboard straps?.....if there are tarnish or tone lines?

My first card every year is from the real estate agent that I used 22 years ago (I guess his hope is eternal). :D

Saved it as I received it. It was untouched for all those years. I did not remove any coins, it just feels wrong in some way. Plenty of visible tarnish, can't say what it looks like under the straps.
I would consider passing it along to someone who would like it. Maybe I'll post it on the BST?

Agreed! You think there is anything significant under those straps?

I really have no idea, but I will guess probably not?

The card itself from waaaay back then is what I believe is most of the coolness factor.
