My Tom Brady rookie card collection is finally complete!!!

On the sports talk forum they know me as a BIG time Brady/Patriots guy. Well, i have been slowly, over the years, putting together the 44 card Brady base rookie set. I acquired the final card this fall and thought i would share! It has been a very long journey and especially when Covid prices hit I never thought this would be possible, but here it is. The complete 44!! It was difficult for me to get all of them into one image and with little glare, but here was my attempt.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Yes, lots! and the 44 are just the Base Rookies. It doesnt count all the parallels. that puts the number at well over 100!

I have a few parallels, but will never have all because it includes the Contenders Champ ticket that in the past has sold for well over a million dollars.

currently my best parallel is the Bowman Chrome Refractor.

I will never have all the parallels.

Nice. As you can tell I am a Dolphin fan, so watching him crush my team twice a year wasn't fun. But credit were credit is due, he was the one that made the patriot engine go. And tampa.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

Are you going to start an Eli Manning rookie run now? ... just kidding. That is quite impressive. Congrats on finally completing it. There is nothing like the feeling after finishing off a set or collection.

Hey there! I appreciate it. I have been doing very well. I have the Brett run in Topps and I am only missing the 76 OPC Brett to have that run as well.

I think I will start getting some more of the 60s and 70s Baseball HOF rookies. I have my eye on a 67 Seaver at the moment. waiting for the right one to appear!

Oh, Eli Mannning. it is amazing a guy like that could have caused Patriots fans so much grief.

    Craig… a little help.
The cards in the lower left showing a Michigan helmet and red and white jersey…… they wore those during games back then? I don’t remember them.

That is from Tom playing in the Senior Bowl game that year.

That one is not considered a true rookie. More like a "minor league" or prospect card

Man, that is a tough one...

I think for looks alone in the base collection, it would be one of these 3: Showcase, Momentum or Leaf Certified. I think I lean toward the Showcase. Overall, my favorite is my Bowman Chrome Refractor. But that is not an official part of the Base 44. It is considered a parallel so it is not in the picture.

of course, if you were to ask me the same question next week, my answer would probably change!
