Is this an authentic Morgan Dollar in a PCGS slab on eBay?
Does the Morgan on eBay look fake to anyone else? The slab writing seems off. It is also significantly underpriced. The coin condition also doesn't match the grade in my opinion. I reported it to eBay, but curious what others think.

Typical fake that's coming out of China these days. You can report it but it's unlikely that eBay will take it down.

EBay will not take it down. I have reported many counterfeits and eBay claims the listings do not go against their policies.

Really disappointed in eBay...there is a large number of counterfeit 'AU/BU' Morgans sold in groups of 5 for about 85-90 dollars and I reported a couple of the auctions. eBay ruled that they did not violate their policies yet the details totally said that the composition was silver. There are many listings like this....and they are clearly counterfeit with misleading descriptions and have been reported so eBay just does not care.

Here is another 'tell'.
Based on the NFC symbol on the label reverse, it is SUPPOSED TO BE a PCGS Museum GEN 6.1 holder.
Unfortunately, it is missing the NFC symbol (lower left), and PCGS logo (lower right) in the plastic on the holder obverse.

Aren't Morgan dollars still legal tender? How would that be any different than someone selling counterfeit 100 dollar bills on ebay?

Confirming here that eBay took the listing down.
But I reported it days ago, and it didn't get removed until I posted this thread.
I assume they use quantity of reports for an item when determining whether to take it down or not.

Of all the fake Morgans on ebay, this one is the most fake.

I was on a tear for years nuking fakes, holders, coins etc and managed to take down probably 1000's. I just gave up because it never ends, at any given moment there's a fake 93s listed. What is PCGS doing to address this, this is flatout copyright infringement.
