I'll stick with my prediction at the start, Blue Jays in 6 as it looks like things are headed back to Toronto. The Dodgers have their backs up against the wall with their butts sucking plaster.
Superman is 0/4 and it looks like he won't get another AB in this game.

I think the Dodgers had the same hopes last night from Snell, an outing that gave them the advantage. MLB overall is sort of like the 2nd half of an NFL game, it's all about adjustments. Yamamoto has faced the Blue Jays once, Game 2 a week ago. Now that the batters have faced him and have film to study I wouldn't be so certain about the result. Looking at Toronto, I'd expect that if they get any kind of a lead in the 4th-5th innings that we'll see a conga line of relievers to seal the game.
Not saying that's what'll transpire but it wouldn't surprise me.

One thing I notice is Mookie Betts is not the same player I saw when he was with the Red Sox. He seems to be deteriorating faster this year. How many years does he have left on his monster contract?
We should remember that Betts started the season with a mystery illness where he was unable to keep food down for several weeks, losing 20-25 pounds at the time.
I'm not sure he's ever recovered his weight or his strength that he lost from that, and for all we know, he may still be dealing with it on some level with mitigated symptoms, and they're just not talking about it.
It may take a full off-season to recover and be the player he was. Or he may never be that player again.
i am dodger fan but the blue jays are playing better this series. LA only wins if toronto scores 2 or less. i think the pressure is on toronto to win though. blowing 2 home games for the title would be devastating.
Happy for Mookie and KiKe Hernandez, former Red Sox players.
Yamamoto was deadly and deserves the MVP.
I doubt we'll ever see such an exciting game 7 again.
Wish they would have shown some pics of Japanese celebrating, it was perhaps 11AM Sunday when the game ended. Surely there are thousands of rabid followers of Japanese players here, especially those as talented as Ohtani and Yamamoto.
Side note...I hated the idiots who stuck microphones in the faces of both Schneider and Roberts in key moments during the game. Their questions were lame and added NADA to the game. Both were laser focused on the game and didn't want or needed to be bothered.

1 more win. Go Jays.
Friday's game:
Dodgers -140
Blue Jays +120
Bookies calling it like the Dodgers have a lot of life left.
We shall see.

Theyve always had film to study on Yamamoto. You dont have to face someone for film.
If there was a concern it would be that he warmed up during the 18 inning game after pitching a complete game.
Either way the Dodgers bats have to wake up to win the game

Sucks when your team forgets how to hit for a few games... I wouldn't know anything about that.
I wish both teams could lose but I like Freeman. Not the first time this year the Dodgers forgot how to hit for a few games either.
If I had to bet I like Yamamoto in the game, but if the Dodgers are just going to strike out every time then congrats to the Blue Jays
Fire AJ Preller
wouldn't it be something if the Jays won this thing!!
I was sure LA would win, with the big payroll and all.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Absurd double play to end game 6. Bad spot for the Dodgers with Glasnow having to come in to pitch

The outfield wall got the save. What a finish. Can’t wait for a surreal game 7. Baseball is awesome. 👏
Ball stuck in the wall. 6 guys on in last 4 innings and not a one scores. What are the odds. On to Saturday.

Speaking of Betts that was an error on him on the ground ball up the middle that was called a hit

So it's come down to Game 7...which we all know means...

Time will tell! If he doesn't come back from it that will be a major loss for the Dodgers as he has mucho time left on his contract.

4 runners reached in 1-2 innings. Left there. Jays may be close to a record for total left on base in a world series. Giving it away.
You just knew it would come down to the 9th inning.
Would not surprise me if LA gets a guy on for Ohtani.
Somewhere out there Rajai Davis just shouted “Yup!”
Story of the Jays. Based loaded, 1 out. Empty.
no! i can't take9 more
Insane.
Does anyone want to win this WS?
Both teams seem allergic to turning a double play to end the inning
Fire AJ Preller
i have died and come back to life 10 times in the past hour
best Japanese player
1) Yamamoto
2) Ohtani
I’m glad it wasn’t the one-sided mauling that so many predicted before the series started. A classic that may never end.
Yamamoto probably MVP or Othani

Game over LA wins. As a Canadian it sucks!!!

The Jays were so so so close but it looks like our local hero Donnie Baseball will have to settle for an AL Championship ring.

You could give Toronto 6 outs and they couldn’t score a runner from third.
I’ve never seen so many opportunities go to waste.
Up 3 games to 2. Going home. Up 4-2 late in game 7. What could go wrong?
It got to the point that as soon as the Jays got runners on, you sensed they would not see home.
Congrats to the Dodgers!

Guys you know how I feel!! BACK TO BACX!!!!! LETS GO FOR THREEPEAT!!!
I keep wondering what would have happened if Turner (game 2) and/or Kerkering (game 4) had been able to make the plays.
Congratulations to the Dodgers as that 7th game was great. Yamamoto is a stud!
