Shout-Out and Kudos to David Kahn Rare Coins!

winestevenwinesteven Posts: 5,063 ✭✭✭✭✭

I just experienced what I consider a completely unexpected, phenomenal way of having been treated when I emailed David Kahn Rare Coins about potentially selling back to them a coin I had bought from them just under a month ago. They responded quickly, offered a solution that was extraordinarily fair and reasonable, and we concluded the deal in short order. While I had NEVER bought any coins from them in the past, I knew of their reputation, but now I have experienced their great service first-hand! I'm a customer going forward and would recommend them to anyone!

I’ve known them since being a kid at coin shows. Absolutely great folks, always willing to give their time. They have great coins and they love talking about coins.

OK since we’re taking about Dave and DKRC, this is probably worth reposting.

Apologies for not knowing a better method than a screenshot.

David is one of the good guys. I have known him for about 15 years. I usually go to him first at a show.

Man, I wish there were 100 eBay sellers like these guys. Incredible material, incredible images. I’ve never been disappointed!

I was told yes, they will be there!

I’ll be there too. Here’s a photo of me with my red & white striped bag. If you see me, please introduce yourself!

They're one of the very few dealers that I check on what's for sale regularly, like every week.
I like that their pics are very good.
They take the time to add their opinion and descriptions which I read with interest as well.
I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

@winesteven Your endorsement means a lot to me. They are now going to be on my regular rotation of websites to check.

I met David and Melissa at my first FUN show when I was 17-- they were the first sellers I did business with at that show. Super fair and always great to talk to. Love seeing them every Baltimore.

I stop at every show they attend. Dave and his staff are extraordinary at customer service. He is one of the best.

I'm a big fan of David Kahn.
A few years ago I showed him a CBH at an ANA and he told me more about it than I ever knew.
    Very generous with his time.
    Then he spoiled me.
He made me an offer and he told me that he would stand by his offer price, any time of any day, for the entire show.
I've since learned that is not the standard and once embarrassed myself thinking it was.

I know him personally, he stops by the shop I work at when he’s on the road going to the shows, I’ve bought several coins in my collection from him. He is an excellent person!
