Shout-Out and Kudos to David Kahn Rare Coins!
I just experienced what I consider a completely unexpected, phenomenal way of having been treated when I emailed David Kahn Rare Coins about potentially selling back to them a coin I had bought from them just under a month ago. They responded quickly, offered a solution that was extraordinarily fair and reasonable, and we concluded the deal in short order. While I had NEVER bought any coins from them in the past, I knew of their reputation, but now I have experienced their great service first-hand! I'm a customer going forward and would recommend them to anyone!

One of the good guys in our hobby and has been for years.
DKRC has been very well run for a long time…….and they’ve upped their game even more now that it’s a full fledged family business.
Good people and a great source for quality stuff for sure.
I’ve always enjoyed their eye for quality and customer service!
100% agree. Dave, Melissa, and Josh are top notch. @winesteven's situation was identical to one I was in with Dave a few years back. I "needed" a specific variety (some kind of registry- or calendar-driven need, if I recall) and Dave had one, but I considered it a "right-now" coin, not a "forever" coin. I bought it. Later, when the "forever" coin appeared, Dave was more than fair in taking back the other one.
A valued friend and advisor, and they're definitely on my short list of folks to patronize whenever possible.

I’ve known them since being a kid at coin shows. Absolutely great folks, always willing to give their time. They have great coins and they love talking about coins.
I dealt with them once, and it was first rate all the way. A fellow collector friend also purchased from them and was very happy.
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Great outfit, Dave and his team are first rate. With all the grifters, coin doctors, and counterfeiters out there, it’s a relief to know you still have access to honest first rate sellers like DKRC.
I’ve always lived by the philosophy of “first, find the right dealers” in my collecting.
OK since we’re taking about Dave and DKRC, this is probably worth reposting.
Apologies for not knowing a better method than a screenshot.
David is one of the good guys. I have known him for about 15 years. I usually go to him first at a show.
Great dealer. I bought my $10 Indian type coin from David at FUN in 2022. AU58 CAC

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Man, I wish there were 100 eBay sellers like these guys. Incredible material, incredible images. I’ve never been disappointed!
Dave
I presume they'll be at FUN 2026 ?
I was told yes, they will be there!
I’ll be there too. Here’s a photo of me with my red & white striped bag. If you see me, please introduce yourself!

They're one of the very few dealers that I check on what's for sale regularly, like every week.
I like that their pics are very good.
They take the time to add their opinion and descriptions which I read with interest as well.
I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
@winesteven Your endorsement means a lot to me. They are now going to be on my regular rotation of websites to check.
I met David and Melissa at my first FUN show when I was 17-- they were the first sellers I did business with at that show. Super fair and always great to talk to. Love seeing them every Baltimore.

Yeah, good guys.

I just made my first purchase from DKRC the other day. Even though this was probably the least expensive coin in their inventory, Melissa put it on hold for me, answered my questions, and even sent an extra video of the coin. I couldn't be happier with my buying experience!
They took all my money at the ANA and I was happy to give it to them.
BHNC #248 … 140 and counting.
I stop at every show they attend. Dave and his staff are extraordinary at customer service. He is one of the best.
I'm a big fan of David Kahn.
A few years ago I showed him a CBH at an ANA and he told me more about it than I ever knew.
Very generous with his time.
Then he spoiled me.
He made me an offer and he told me that he would stand by his offer price, any time of any day, for the entire show.
I've since learned that is not the standard and once embarrassed myself thinking it was.

I know him personally, he stops by the shop I work at when he’s on the road going to the shows, I’ve bought several coins in my collection from him. He is an excellent person!
