Just received the bad news that Bob Travis has passed away @ age 85. While Bob was a great collector, particularly of FE’s & IHC’s, he was an even greater man. I learned so much from him about “our” collecting faves. I’m certainly much better off for knowing him & spending quality time not only talking coins, but about life in general. I’ll surely miss him!

I did not know Bob, but it's sad to lose great collectors and their knowledge. My condolences.

I didn't know him, but my condolences to all who knew and loved him.

Being a underpaid plumber, everyone should be treated good at the bourse table. I have 3 kids.
    Bought an indian head once

    Couple of thoughts:

If you're underpaid as a plumber, you're doing it wrong or not very good at your job.
Found an indian arrowhead once in a pile of gravel.
