1967 Kennedy DDR FS-801

Is this the, 1967 KENNEDY DDR FS-801, It shows clear doubling on the reverse inscriptions, including “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “HALF DOLLAR with DOUBLING on the date as well.

    Looks nothing like 801 in Variety Vista. Have you looked at the photos?

    and the date is on the Obverse, so that would be a DDO. but it's not a ddo either

    Mechanical doubling, not a doubled die.

    It is often easier to buy a certified variety than searching for them.

    With study, it becomes easier to see difference between machine or mechanical doubling vs a true doubled die.

    Applies to all coins. Many will have PUP's (or pick up points ) that help identify a known DDO/DDR

    Your pictures are decent.... but only need maybe 3-4 at most. Strong shelf doubling as others have mentioned.
