Nice touch using multi color tie down straps. But the best idea is using the window wipers, outside mirror, and the inside of the door to add a little stronger tie down job.

Boyfriend was awarded a scholarship in "ENGINEERING" and lives on campus in a dorm setting.
One cold seasonal night, I had to travel the 45 min. drive to pick up my daughter.
Enter in, a small, 3 ft x 3 in. x 3 in. box, containing one table top; fold up Christmas tree to be
delivered to his dorm.
After I parked the car, out front of his dorm, I called my daughter saying I've arrived. Next, I took out the tree in a box, and placed it on the trunk. I then waited for them to say their good bye's and then come to the car with a box sitting on the trunk.
Before any greetings could be said, I explained what was in the box on the trunk.
I thought maybe your dorm could use some Christmas spirit,
so take this tree, in a box, on the trunk of my car.
