PCGS and Lincoln Cent types

PCGS does not list the 1909 VDB Lincoln Cents as a type. I guess they consider it a variety? Wouldn't that mess up a lot of type sets?

Why? I no reason to break it out, it is part of the overall copper wheat back cent group.

I have always disagreed with PCGS on this.
