The coins in the main body of the album are all basically mint state. Not a real difficult album to complete. I only really wanted a Dansco that went from 46-64. I wasn't really interested in the clad stuff but this one went to 2005, so I bought it. It's not a bad looking set. It's been looking rather bland to me over the years and I wanted to somehow spice it up.
I had a bunch of random Roosevelt minor errors, that I didn't know what to do with. So I bought a blank dime page. They all didn't exactly fit in the holes but I made it work. It's still a work in progress. For your viewing pleasure.

Very nice!
It's a good looking set and I like what you did with the minor errors or varieties.

Yes, that spices up the album nicely!

Nice looking album. With all them clad dimes you'll always have enough spare change to buy a few hamburgers at McDonalds . Great idea on doing that spare page with the error coins!

Very nice and interesting set with all those clipped and die break coins! Nice job! With so many clipped dimes, I chuckled thinking that the last slot represented a 100% clip.
That's a sweet addition to the album, wtg 👍
I like what you added to a rather plain set, Tom. That’s quite a few CPs. Interesting!
I like the additions. That 54 looks like it has some nice color to it.
That's a cool idea. I like it.
For a coin collector, that is an entertaining set to look at (as it should be).
PS:
You also need these
LoL!! I need to fill that last hole with something that fits. Although like I said, it's still a work in progress. I haven't put it to bed yet.

Yes, this 54 jumps off the page compared to the others. It has some pretty coloring but I don't know if it's damaged or NT. I like it though.

Okay, I think the problem of this last hole has just been solved!!
Send me something unique Dan. Something that will fit the theme of this last page and last hole. I'll leave it completely up to you, using your personal and professional opinion. Dazzle me (us) with your magic! Just surprise us.
PM me and I'll send you a check. No rush, think about it.

That is a cool way to expand the set!
That looks pretty cool in an album!
.
I don't have dies any more (defaced). The amount of work it would take to engrave new Roosevelt dies and make one piece would be a lot. And I don't really want to do any more Roosevelt pieces either (been there, done that).
You could maybe pick up the "1944-P" or "1945" on eBay or somewhere. I probably have a couple, but none that I plan to sell at this time.
Another option for something different would be the Reagan Dime that was talked about at one time. There are 999 silver concept tributes of it (privately minted) available on eBay for $15 to $20 (usually - there are two dozen of them on there now).
.
Not a problem Dan. Completely understand. It was worth a shot. Thank you for that feedback!

Killer set!
Proud follower of Christ!
OAKSTAR pick up a Brother P Touch label maker with clear label tape. You can duplicate the Dansco factory style dates and description. I personally buy blank Dansco pages and customize my own albums. Not necessarily my Roosevelt albums but my Kennedy albums are all customized. to include the 64 Accented hair, 1998 Matte finish, all the different 2014's the Enhanced proofs Etc. All in date order. Depending on where the hole is on the page ( some lines have more space between the horizontal rows ) you can squeeze two lines in. One for the date and one for a description. Super happy with mine.
You know something Tom?.... You are absolutely right!!
I was never happy trying to make these labels look right or professional. My wife created them for me. Trying to get the font right, plus the labels are not clear. This page is still a work in progress. I might add or take out some pieces. I probably should have waited with the labels until I got the page the way I like it.
I'm on Amazon now. Can you recommend one of these label makers? I don't need or want a high end one, just one that can do the job. Could you also please post a couple of your custom pages here? Thanks! 👍

A couple of pictures from @Tom147 custom pages. The exact font and labels I need. Thanks Tom!!

You are welcome sir. Always happy to help out a fellow collector. For those wondering, this font is called Helsinki, size small, type " bold print "
Great talking to you on the phone Oakstar.
For those wondering about actual Dansco fonts and sizes.
Older page dates: Futura (10pt)
Newer page dates: Times New Roman (10pt)
Top of page: Stymie (12pt)
Cover spine: Brush Script (28pt)
Front Cover: Brush Script (54pt)
I'm partial to the older date font, Futura. I use Avery 18695 clear labels (These are clear but have a matte finish, so they are not as shinney) and most importantly, trim them down as much as possible so the excess label doesn't stick out as much.
That's an amazing set Bubba. I'm impressed.

Now back to my hole.
Thank you @MASSU2

thanks for the picture nice collection.
As I mentioned, this custom page is a work in progress. I should not have started the labeling, until I was finished and happy with the page. @Tom147 suggested I remove the labels with a hair dryer, being careful not to rip the page..........it worked!
So I'm starting over. I'll move the coins around, looking for an aesthetically pleasing or consistent look before labeling. Also, I might be looking for a couple of other errors that fit in the hole and my budget.
If this turns out well, I might consider the same type of project for my other Dansco's. More the follow..
Even if you had a handful of errors, it might be worth displaying them in the back of your albums in a custom page. Or even start a standalone custom album with random errors.

Cool
MASSU2
Dang nabbit MASSU2, it looks like the Avery labels you mentioned may be even better than the Brother labels I'm currently using. So now I have to check them out and possibly get the hair dryer out and start over. ( already ordered the Avery off of eBay ) Of course I enjoy the heck out of building my own pages. Oakstar, I'll keep you posted how mine turns out. Thank you MASSU2
MASSU2 Are you using a computer ? Or a label maker for these labels
Those large die breaks are very cool!
