Cheerios

I love the cheerio cent, I think its cool and was a great promo. This is mine and it is top pop (or was) at CACG. A funny little bragging right for us copper nerds.

only problem with the cheerios cents is the coin isn't special it's self.

Nice coin, happy for you. As a lifelong copper cent collector this was just a gimmick and doesn't resonate with me. I have one still in the cardboard packaging but would never bother to have it graded.

I get it. Totally "gimmicky" but its still cool, and I always like "flexing" this with my buddies. Even though they hate copper. Its just fun!

I wish it were copper. ;)

I have a visceral aversion to Zincolns that leaves me quite conflicted. They are are coins worthy of being collected, but they are so fragile.

Anyway, I see the Cheerios designation as a sort of historical provenance. They are part of numismatic history.

I wish it were the enhanced tail feathers. When I first saw the title, I thought it was. I was getting ready to call @CaptHenway 👍 😉
