Any dealers have opinions on what cull buffalo nickels would be? Dateless? Corroded? Heavily cleaned? Etc??

I've bought rolls of cull buffalos, and most are dateless or partial dates. There might be a couple corroded or heavily cleaned but I wouldn't expect more than that.

Not a dealer but have an opinion anyway. Culls wouldn't necessarily include dateless but corroded, heavily cleaned or damaged would be.

    Doc,
What I've found to be an average price for cull rolls for the last year or so have been as follows:
    Dateless rolls..................$15 to $20
    Culls with dates..............$25 to $30
Just my opinion. I'm getting ready to sell a few rolls, so I'll let you know at what price they sell.

    😳

Are you those are sold prices?

They seem extremely high. 50 cents per dateless coin when bought by the roll? 🤨

Several years ago when I needed some dateless buffalo I was paying around $8 a roll if I recall correctly.

I sold some cull Buffalo Nickels at a local show about a year ago. They were a tough sell at about 15 cents each. All had readable dates. The prices quoted earlier in this thread seem WAY too high.

If dateless rolls are going for $15 to $20 per roll wholesale I would be amazed. Of course, it could be true as this is not an area that I usually work in, but my experience is along the lines of 15-20 cents per coin so about $6 to $8 per roll.

These are sold rolls for last month or so. Note that the lower sold prices tend to have large shipping fees and higher price low or no S/H fees.

I sold a lot of Buffalo nickels last year and received 40c for 4-digit dates, 20c for 2-digit dates, and 8c for dateless.

No one truly thinks they haven't been searched, but hopes their knowledge is better than the previous searchers.
