Counterfeit Morgan?

There has been a debate on another website as to whether or not this coin is counterfeit or not and I thought that I'd ask the CU group since I would think that there are more knowledgeable numismatists here than any other place. The dealer that sold the coin is claiming that it tested fine on his sigma and also had an accurate weight along with passing a ping test.
When you compare the font of the lettering and date to images available on PCGS however, it doesn't come close to looking accurate. Do you all think that this is a real coin or is the dealer trying to gaslight everyone?
Thanks!

100 percent counterfeit.
You do not even need to compare it to a genuine because it is such a terrible counterfeit. Tell the seller to refund your money.
It's bad all day long to the point that I might have to wonder if anyone might truly think it real.

I was thinking it is definitely 80% counterfeit. Maybe even 90% of it is counterfeit.
Upon further inspection I now agree, it is 100% counterfeit.
Thankfully it wasn't my purchase. I was just wanting to make sure that I wasn't crazy in thinking that it was fake. Hopefully whoever bought it will get reimbursed.
so easy to tell it is a counterfeit
I knew it was fake from q quick glance at the first photo.
No coin that I know of is “definitely 80% counterfeit” or “90% counterfeit”. Coins are either 100% counterfeit or 0% counterfeit.

Exactly... being counterfeit is like being pregnant... you either are, or you're not. There's no "in between"...

Counterfeit:
Sigma (metal composition) testing is not conclusive, because some counterfeits are made from the correct metal alloy.
One of my greatest flaws is my humor is sometimes too subtle.
At least, that is what I've been told.
I would try to get your money back.
