What's a hopper ?.
I had to look closer. I think my dyslexia might have kicked in when I first looked at it. Lol

A hopper is a giant bin--it doesn't need to be denomination specific. All you need is a dime to somehow get stuck or otherwise not leave the hopper when it's full of completed dimes, and then the hopper gets used to transport cent blanks where, when emptied, the dime then falls out. Voila, 11 cents.
Mint employee goes to lunch room wondering why they are a dime short for the vending machine.
It happens the same way my 2016 struck over 2015 nickel happened.

Besides the hopper which is used to feed the planchets to the machine, this coin was a hopper when the dime hopped over to the cent machine 🎃
