"The F.B.I." (Federal Bureau of Investigation) was an American television program which ran from 1965 to 1974 on the ABC television network.

All actors and actresses who appeared on the program had to undergo an FBI check and those with police or criminal records were rejected from the program.

Happily this young actress passed the FBI check:

I had a summer internship during that time period that included working at a correctional facility, The F.B.I. show was the favorite program of the inmates there.

Egypt’s Historic Coptic Christian Church with 110 Icons, Noah's Ark Barreled Ceiling and a 15 Pillared Marble Pulpit

In the below linked video one can see the barrel shaped ceiling of the Hanging Christian Church which has the intended appearance of being an inverted Noah’s Ark.

In addition one can see the church’s marble pulpit supported by 15 columns. 12 of the columns represent the 12 apostles 1:01 and the other three represent Christ, Mary and John the Baptist. The one black column is for Judas and the gray one for Doubting Thomas.

Boasting 110 icons with its oldest ones from the 8th Century that include the “Coptic Mona Lisa,” The Hanging Christian Church in Old Cairo a/k/a Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church is the most famous Christian Church in Egypt.

After the 4th Century it replaced a Roman Church that was part of the Roman Babylon Fortress that preceded it. Until the Arabs invaded Egypt 300 years later, Christianity was the majority religion in Egypt. Even today 20% of Egyptians are Coptic Christians. (the word “Coptic” means Egyptian and the religion itself is closest to Greek Orthodox with a primary difference being their belief that there is only one God with multiple personalities rather than a trinity of three different entities.

During one of its early renovations it was built to span across a gap between two towers of the original Roman Fortress giving it the appearance of “hanging,” hence its name .

After the Pope of the Coptic Christian Church relocated from Alexandria to Cairo when Arabs came to rule Egypt, this church was the Coptic Pope’s headquarters for 100s of years. Closely associated with this church was the “Miracle of the Moving a Mountain.” The Caliph who ruled Egypt challenged the Coptic Pope to move a mountain as the Bible in Matthew said could be done by faith. For three days the Pope prayed in this church until he was told in a vision to seek out a tanner with one eye who would give him further instructions. He found the tanner and following his instructions was able to cause a nearby mountain to lift up and come back down. Seeing this the Caliph allowed Christianity to co-exist with Islam.

Two other significant events are heralded in the paintings at this church. One was the martyrdom of a Governor’s daughter and 40 virgins who refused to renounce Christianity when Rome initially ruled Egypt. The other was the Christ Child’s Sojourn in Egypt with “The Holy Family” as they fled the wrath of Herod.

As a matter of fact, a competing Coptic Christian Church in Old Cairo located just a block away is accepted as having been built over the cavern in which the “Holy Family” hid for some three months. Visiting the Cavern Church one can see what is purported to be the very stones upon which Jesus walked.
