Acid dating buffalo nickels

I bought a few of these at face value. Several were corroded and dateless. You can barely make out the S mint marks, so these are great choices for playing!

    It’s good fun; better than going to the movies. I’ve found several 1914-Ds.

    I've done the same thing before. Always fun to see the end result and sometimes you find a scarcer date, like a 13-S T2.

    A couple I’ve owned. 1916 doubled die (I didn’t acid date this one) and a 1918/7 D. Good ones can be found but you will go through a ton of common ones before you find a good one in my experience.
